Podcast 2
Today I heard the BBC podcast about hair discrimination. The title was "I lost my job because of my hair".
When I saw this title I started laughing but after some time people talking in the podcast convienced me that for them it is a serious issue. Especially for black people, who sometimes had to change their natural afro because it seemed inappropriate for their bosses. Some of them agreed but the others not and they startd seeing this as a hair discrimination.
I've never heard before of this case so I was surprised that hair discriminiation actually exists and people lose their jobs because of such insignificant thing as hair.
I'm content it doesn't concern me. Still, I don't agree with any form of the discrimination and I hope the petition about this issue will get into the parliament.
